ADAC has been working closely with Delaware Academy in addressing the vaping issue happening with underage students. On June 2nd, the Daily Star featured an article about this effort. Below is a link to the page. Please feel free to check it out! We are proud of the relationships we are building with the schools.

"Local Educators Warn of Teen E-Cigarette Use"

Our Executive Director, Mary Rosenthal, was invited to a meeting with State Senator James Seward to discusss ways to combat the addiction epidemic in our region. Together with 3 other Prevention Council Executive Directors from Otsego, Schoharie, and Tompkins Counties, there was discussion about creating change to help fight this disease. We are so proud of Mary and all the hard work that she does on the front lines and behind the scenes.  (Mary is the woman directly to the Senators right).
