Prevention Educator

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the county? ADAC is looking for a dedicated Prevention Educator to join our team in Delaware County. This full-time (35 hour per week) role focuses on delivering in-school evidence-based programming and developing ATOD (Alcohol, tobacco and other drugs) prevention services.

Ideal candidates should have a minimum two-year degree and/or relevant experience (perfect for those with a background in teaching or similar roles). We value creativity, strong communication skills, and a commitment to team work. If your comfortable with public speaking and eager to foster collaborative relationships with schools and community groups, we’d love to hear from you! Travel around Delaware County is required.

We offer a starting rate of $22.50 per hour

Recovery Coach/Prevention Educator

Are you passionate about making a positive impact in the community? ADAC is looking for a dedicated Peer Recovery Coach/Prevention Educator to join our team in Delaware County. This full-time (35 hour per week) role focuses on providing support for individuals in or seeking recovery from alcohol, other drugs, codependency or other addictive behaviors. This position helps those in recovery access the systems needed and serves as an advocate to assist in obtaining services while also working to provide services to inmates within the jail. This position will also assist in providing in-school evidence-based programming and prevention services. Travel around Delaware County is required.
